The ASAQS was established in 1908 to promote the science and practice of quantity surveying. It watches over, promotes and protects the interest of its members. It allows for the interchange and recording of the body of knowledge and experience of quantity surveying and promotes standards of professionalism, competence and integrity.
The SACQSP was established in 2000 to ensure that the Council fulfills its mandate in developing and maintaining standards, in the achievement of excellence and integrity in the enhancement of the status of the Quanity Surveying profession, and the protection of the public within an evolving environment.
The SACPCMP was established in 2000 as a statutory body empowered by section 18 of Act No 48 of 2000 to certify, register and regulate the Project and Construction Management Professions.
RICS was established over 150 years ago and now has over 130,000 members and candidates operating in the development and management of land, real estate, construction and infrastructure across more than 140 countries globally.
